X-Press Legal Services has sponsored local girls’ football team, Parkdale Sidac Pumas Under 14s, for the third year in a row.
The girls will be showing off their football skills every week in the Warrington Women’s League while proudly wearing their kit emblazed with their longstanding sponsors, X-Press Legal Services.
Lynne Lister, Managing Director of X-Press Legal Services commented: “We are thrilled to be sponsoring the girls for the third year in a row. We knew how important it was to encourage girls into football and sport and are delighted to see just how popular it has become, especially this year following the success of the England team.
“We are always happy to support grassroots sports in the local area and with girls’ football on the rise, we are pleased to be able to be involved. The girls look great in their new kit, and we will be cheering them on throughout the season!”
Search Administrator at X-Press Legal Services, Julie Sorby, whose daughter plays for the team commented: “A massive thank you to X-Press Legal Services for supporting our girls this season. The team are excited to start playing again after the summer break and get stuck into this year’s league.”
Parkdale Sidac Football Club was originally established in 2002 in St Helens and is a huge part of the community; they have 17 teams playing in local leagues from under 6 to under 18 teams and proud to now have two girls’ teams, and hoping to expand even more.
The Pumas was the first girls’ team established at the club, and Parkdale Sidac FC is now excited to be introducing their second girls’ team at the club. Parkdale Sidac experienced a huge spike in interest for women’s football teams after England were crowned UEFA Women’s EURO 2022 champions. This prompted the club to start the U12 Parkdale Panthers who have just begun their first season.
