Webinars are the way forward during current times

For X-Press Legal Services, the adoption of online training during social distancing has enabled us to continue supporting our clients and our local offices. We have been able to reach a far greater number of clients and prospects remotely than we could before Covid-19 restrictions.

As a result of Government social distancing measures, we switched to using webinars to deliver Continuous Professional Development (CPD) sessions to our network of property conveyancer and solicitor clients across the UK. These training sessions are usually held in large conference centres or venues such as Haydock and Cheltenham racecourses. The first online webinar with Linda Wright, ‘Planning, Property & Pandemic’ held on 29th April received almost 400 attendees

One attendee commented: “It was a great way of having these types of conferences – especially during this unprecedented period that we are currently living through.”

Further X-Press webinars have continued to see over 150 attendees logging on to find out about new legislation, products and services.

Dave Lister, Sales Director from X-Press Legal Services comments: “Part of our ethos is providing the perfect combination of technology and the personal touch as it’s the local knowledge and relationships we have with our conveyancing clients that set us apart from other providers. To have been able to continue to offer this level of one-to-one service even during social distancing has been great for business.”

We have also been delivering our bespoke owner ‘Academy’ training via Zoom and WebinarJam – an essential part of the individual office support offered by our head office team in Warrington.

One X-Press owner commented: “X-Press was keen to continue communication with all of the 27 local owners. Training and the introduction of new products with the new technology has been embraced. We have stayed connected to our network and clients and been able to offer support to our clients, both with free training and practical solutions. Recorded webinars have been invaluable in training staff as well as continuing to promote our businesses.”

Dave added, “The webinars have proven hugely successful and thanks must go to our head office IT team who helped to facilitate them. Looking forward these will remain part of the way we work, but alongside our technology and products, we will always keep the personal touch, which is what X-Press is renowned for.”
