Bringing Christmas cheer to children with Circus Starr

X-Press has once again treated children to a day out at the circus by donating to Circus Starr – a North-West based not-for profit organisation which runs magical circus shows for children with additional needs, illnesses or disabilities, as well as those from vulnerable or low-income backgrounds.

We donated £350 to Circus Starr this Christmas, wanting to help the organisation during the season of giving. It has been another tough year for children, with many activities cancelled, especially for those who were at increased risk from the ongoing pandemic.

Circus Starr: ‘A circus with a purpose’, aims to make a day out to the circus a possibility for any child, creating an inclusive environment where children can shout, dance, jump around and are encouraged to let go of their worries, get involved and be themselves. They are treated to a spectacular live performance from an array of clowns, acrobats and jugglers – guaranteed to put a smile on their face.

Dave Lister, Financial and Sales Director at X-Press Legal Services comments: “The past year has been another tricky one for everyone, but it has been a difficult time for families who are struggling financially, and children with disabilities or illnesses who have been unable to see family and friends due to health risks. We wanted to help children across the country enjoy themselves after so much disruption to some of their most enjoyable years!
